Metes Mapper does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. Period.
Everything. Deed descriptions, parcels, coordinates, and settings are stored only in the app's local storage on your iPhone. They are never uploaded anywhere. Deleting the app deletes them.
The app has no sign-in, no analytics or advertising SDKs, no crash-reporting service, and no third-party code that phones home.
The Map tab and map exports use Apple Maps (MapKit), a system service provided by Apple. When map imagery is loaded, Apple's servers receive the map region being displayed, as with any app that shows an Apple map. This is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. Metes Mapper never requests or accesses your device's location.
Files you export (PNG, PDF, JPEG, CSV) go only where you send them via the iOS share sheet. The app keeps no copy beyond the temporary file it hands to iOS.
The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
